Over 9.8 Million Servings Donated to Date

It’s safe to say that 2020 was a difficult year for all of us. Despite it all, we banded together as a community to bring hydration, energy, and sleep to those who needed it most. In 2020 alone, we donated over 6.4 million servings of Liquid I.V. to those who needed it most. Keep reading to find out where and how we gave back last year.

Liquid I.V. COVID-19 Response Initiative: 5.4 million servings donated

We sent Hydration, Energy, and Sleep Multipliers to first responders working long and grueling hours at medical facilities across the country. We knew our products could make a tough shift just a little bit easier, and we wanted to help them feel more connected in this masked and distant world. The response was overwhelming. Here’s an example of one of the moving messages we received from a healthcare professional:

**“We have to be in our PPE for 12+ hours sometimes, no lunch breaks or bathroom breaks. We can’t take our N95 masks off all shift unless we are in the break room. Oftentimes I get dehydrated, dry mouth and lips, nausea, dizzy, and lightheaded at work from wearing the mask so long and breathing in my own CO2. Before every shift I have been drinking Liquid I.V. so that I can stay hydrated before putting my mask on.” **– Nurse, St. Joseph’s Medical Center

As part of our COVID-19 Response Initiative, we also sent donations to organizations like Direct Relief, Operation Gratitude, Food for the Poor, Salvadoran American Humanitarian Foundation, Meals on Wheels, LA Food Bank, LAUSD, Map International, and Convoy of Hope.

Operation LIV Samaritan: Over 149,000 servings donated

Whether it was a company of firefighters in need of extra hydration during the hot summer months, a high school in Alabama that couldn't provide hydration for its student athletes, or a mom wanting to put smiles on the faces of her child's nurses, last year we sent Liquid I.V. wherever it was needed.

Near or far, we sent Liquid I.V. to communities experiencing natural disasters, poverty, and dehydration around the world.
