LIV Giveback Round-Up: Hydration for Those Experiencing Homelessness

As the weather heats up, so does the risk of dehydration. We're thinking especially of our unhoused neighbors, who are often at risk for heat stroke or heat exhaustion during the summer months. That’s why we recently sent servings of Liquid I.V. to organizations across the country that are dedicated to helping those experiencing homelessness. This summer, your purchases sent sticks to:

The Good Karma

On skid row in downtown LA, everyone knows The Good Karma. They've spent the last year and a half providing meals, snacks, and water to the unhoused folks that live there, gaining the trust of the entire community. In June, we followed the Good Karma truck as they distributed food and Liquid I.V. to those who need it most. Check out the video below to catch a glimpse of our day with their volunteers.

We've also donated servings to these fantastic organizations:

Free99Fridge, which set up a free community fridge in Atlanta where people could take whatever they needed, and Chelsea Fridge, which set up a similar fridge in New York City.

Walla Walla Alliance for the Homeless, which provides the unhoused in Walla Walla, Washington with access to safe shelter, basic necessities, and the resources needed to transition to stable housing and self-reliance.

One Love Outreach Mission, which helps those experiencing homelessness and those at risk of homelessness in and around metro New York.
