Creating a sustainable model for corporate impact programs 

A scalable, open-source model for brands to embed impact into their business model with purpose - and power movements. 

At Liquid I.V., we believe that the most strategic way to create meaningful impact is by creating thoughtful, detailed programming that reflects our values. This is how we came to create the Impact 360 Blueprint – a replicable, open-source model designed to help brands embed purpose into their business strategy. 

THE JOURNEY 

Built from our experience as one of the first “giveback” wellness brands and refined through years of cultural relevance and community engagement, this framework shows how to scale impact alongside growth.  

Liquid I.V. started with a 1-1 product donation model. We began building relationships with partners and learning where we could offer our product, time and resources to positively impact the world. After years of donating our product to meet the needs of people who are dehydrated – we've now reached 56+ countries with over 76 million servings of Liquid I.V. - we decided to take it one step further and address the root cause of hydration: water insecurity around the world and here in the United States. 

How can one brand address a global issue? We started with our values – community, collaboration, and ambition to name a few. At Liquid I.V., we believe impact should be accessible, actionable, and sustainable - not performative. We center community-driven solutions and recognize our place as a partner to experts on the ground with long-term solutions.  

Given these beliefs, we made the choice to dedicate over 1% of our annual revenue to impact and create a model that invests holistically in the clean water movement.

WHERE WE INVEST 

Liquid I.V.’s Impact model invests in:  

  1. The Sector: Raising awareness of the global water crisis through our brand platform. 

  2. The Organizations: Funding water experts across policy, education, and implementation with unrestricted funding and collaborative grants. 

  3. The People: Supporting the wellbeing of clean water leaders through vitality grants, covering essentials like gym memberships, mental health support & more.
